4.8—2001-02 TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA), ARTICLE III RECOMMENDED
Mayor Stasek pulled this item to highlight her concern regarding the advisory process in which $117,000 grant funds that were originally allocated to the Stevens Creek Trail project have been reallocated to diverse projects within the City. She said that while these projects are valid, she felt the money should have stayed with the trail. She also expressed concern that it is not realistic to reprogram these funds back to the trail at this late stage of the process. She then indicated she will not be supporting the item.
Mayor Stasek pointed out that, in fact, there was a trail project which was the ADA accessibility at the Crittenden access point included in the list of projects that were recommended by the Committee.
